Business Development Executive

Leicester

Competitive salary up to £26,000 (depending on experience)

I am currently working with a fantastic Leicester based Furniture Company, who are currently looking for two new additions to their Business Development team.

The Role

The role is both internal and customer facing with day to day duties being centralised at the Leicester Head Office, you will be expected to travel around the UK, with some overnight stops.

  • Engage with and develop lines of communication with new and existing customers
    • Key account targeting  - trying to get the most out of current client accounts
    • Expanding the database with relevant new contacts and business leads for the Sales team
    • Participant in social media marketing campaigns

  • Good ability to retain and recite product information
  • Ability to independently research and generate leads above and beyond those which are provided
  • Confidence in handling incoming and outgoing sales calls
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Package, including e-mail, spreadsheet and word processing documents
  • Good ability to use customer relationship management software
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly and annual targets
  • Good ability to work within set timescales and multi-task
  • Full UK Driving License and vehicle
