Health and Safety Administrator

Job Description

Our client based in Leicester is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Administrator to join their team. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with a 30 minute lunch break. You will expected to perform tasks such as data entry, compiling reports, taking notes and updating computer systems. Training will be provided and they offer excellent working condition. This position could become permanent employment following the completion of a successful trial period.

Previous experience in Health and Safety is preferred.

Main Job Duties:

  • Administration - responsible for high quality administrative support to the Health & Safety team
  • Taking minutes in Health & Safety meetings
  • Making sure all actions from those meetings are followed up accordingly
  • PPE Stock Control
  • PPE Orders
  • Review documentation
  • Creating reports when necessary
  • Organising Health & Safety meetings diary management
  • Maintain and update Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Keep files and documents up to date
  • Raise Purchase Orders & process invoices
  • Manage incoming & outgoing communication for the team
  • Contribute towards the delivery of excellent administrative support
