Office Administrator - Health and Safety

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to work within the Health & Safety team for a Production business based at Meridian Business Park, LE19 area of Leicester

This position is available on a long term ongoing basis with the potential for a permanent position based on your performance

The Job:

• Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with 30 minute lunch break

Main Job Duties:

  • Administration - responsible for high quality administrative support to the Health & Safety team
  • Taking minutes in Health & Safety meetings
  • Making sure all actions from those meetings are followed up accordingly
  • PPE Stock Control
  • PPE Orders
  • Review documentation
  • Creating reports when necessary
  • Organising Health & Safety meetings diary management
  • Maintain and update Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Keep files and documents up to date
  • Raise Purchase Orders & process invoices
  • Manage incoming & outgoing communication for the team
  • Contribute towards the delivery of excellent administrative support

About You:

• Have some previous administration experience ideally in a similar role

• Capable of working in a small team

• Have a positive can do attitude

• High level of attention to detail is key

• Have knowledge of general microsoft office programs
