Operations Manager

Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a Soft Services background?  Are you currently looking after multiple sites and contracts and looking to reduce this? How does 6 sites sound? 

You will be working as an Operations manager for an established cleaning contractor that are based in London but operate nationally and are looking for someone to manage two area managers and 6 sites across the Southern Scotland patch with one site in Aberdeen and another in Carlisle

Each site has an established manager and cleaning team.. You will manage your own diary but will be expected to attend sites regularly to ensure standards are being met and service levels are met.

Your Role

  • Responsibility for contract /cleaner performance to achieve and exceed contract SLA and KPI
  • Client Relationship management with key focus on service delivery, retention, and contract growth
  • Responsible for managing financial budgets 
  • Attend training and meetings as required.                                 
  • Implementation of all company policies and procedures 
  • Site visits. In line with client contractual requirement,
  • Pre-sale involvement before contract becomes operational, attending new client site meetings with Business Development Managers, managing TUPE transfer and recruitment of operatives
  • Contract mobilisations
  • Deliver in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service.
  • Manage onsite FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team.
  • Provide a key interface between on-site client and the contracted service providers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Any other ad hoc duties and tasks required

About you

  • Experience of managing multiple cleaning sites & contracts at Operations Manager level 
  • Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff
  • Experience of motivating, managing and leading cleaning teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving licence

You will ideally be based within the Glasgow area
