A permanent opportunity has arisen with one of Thorn Baker's long-term clients. Following a lot of new construction wins across the Construction Build, refurbishment and fit out sectors, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Estimator to expand the current team and work with fresh tenders and enquiries.

About you:

• Strong multitasker, excellent planning & organisation skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Dynamic & innovative, able to work on own initiative.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Estimators to process enquiries from small works up to £10 million, producing timely and accurate estimates.
• Visiting clients and surveying works.
• Have a strong understanding of client needs &restrictions.
• Presenttender bids for adjudicationandproduce RFI's.

Required Skills:

• HNC qualification or above desirable,but not essential.
• Extended experience as an Estimator in construction.
• Well versed in all aspects of the Construction phase and building methods.
• Good working knowledge of SMM7/NRM.
• Experience of operating popular Estimating software packages.
